This is the third Ranunculus I've knit and definitely my favorite!! The yarn is called Silky Wool, and the color is "Manhattan Mist, " a pale bluish grey. I knit the second size using US 9/ 5.5 mm knitting needles throughout the pattern. Have you knit one yet?

Have you ever dyed wool yarn with avocado pits and peels? You don't need a mordant since the pits have plenty of tannins. Add some baking soda to your dye bath to shift the color more pink. It's fun and easy! This batch of over 5,500 yards took me about 18 avocados.
