I’m on a mission to fill every sock drawer in the world with beautiful, hand-knit socks!! I felt the only way to achieve this mission was to design a pair of socks EVERYONE could feel successful at knitting. I realize that turning a heel and knitting a gusset aren’t the worst things in the world (and in fact, some knitters really enjoy that part) but I’ve always dreaded it and it ended up being the one thing that prevented me from knitting all the socks.
Knit top down, these socks are a complete joy to knit and perfect for new sock knitters!.
Each pair of socks uses US 1.5 and US 1 needles and will require approximately 80-100 g/30-360 yds of fingering weight yarn. I used Paton's Kroy Socks FX for my sample pair.
