July was very busy two years ago, in 2023, when this video was filmed. I'm slowly releasing all of my old Patreon content (anything over one year old). Around the cabin, we had our first black bear sighting of the season. It was so exciting when Meryl alerted us that a bear had come onto the property. It stood up tall to peek into the empty bird feeder and then started climbing trees and nosing around in the compost heap. Such a beautiful and powerful creature!
